The FaQ(Ok, ok...so no one has actually asked me these questions....but I just think they're interesting...) 1. Why is the comic called "Lusus Naturae"? Lusus Naturae apparantl means "Freak of Nature" which can be roughly translated as "Mutant". In the story, Lusus Naturae means an event that will "shatter the peace". (The characters are also mutants. Go Figure.) 2. Are you ever planning to (try to) publish this comic? No. If I ever think of publishing this comic I will probably redo the whole story line. Or if this comic takes way longer than expected, I might just publish an "after story" which will occur after this comic ends. (aka after Part Two ends) 3. How long will the story be in pages? I'm thinking many hundreds. Part One has about eight chapters and each chapter has about 30 pages. So thats about 480 pages in Part One and Part Two together. 4. How long will the story be in time? Many years, who knows? So far it One Year to do Three Chapters...So If there is 16 chapters total, the whole project shoud take 5.333333333(repeating) years...So I should be done July 2011... Well that seems far away... 5. What inspired you to do this webcomic? X-men! A long long time ago (during when I was in grade 5) I was intorduced to the big X-men book that explained the entire X-men universe and had pretty pictures. I soon, at such young tender age begain, making up other X-men and planning fight scenes and stories. A many many years passed, and I worked on my other fantasy story and then--BAM--I found that there webcomics online and eventually began plotting together a webcomic for me, here it is.Heh. 6.What is your favorite upcoming scene? And the beginning of the chapter 8: "The Dark Part" (Don't ask, I made up this part a long long time ago), when everything goes haywire. 7.What do you use to make your comic pages? Pencil, pen and paper. (And sometimes, the GIMP). For cropping bad scans I us (MS) Paint. For Lettering, shading, lighting and sometimes colouring, I use PhotoStudio. 8. If you could have any mutation, what would it be? The ability to 9. When you finish this will you start something new? Yes, after a break I try to start something new (but not as long, hopefully). If all goes as planed the *next* story is called Stereotypes. (I may start that before I finish this though) 10. Will this comic be the only comic project you will work on I hope not.(See Question 9) 11. Do you think Lusus Naturae as a manga comic? Sort of. In some pages I put in Manga elements when I feel the need. Since 50% of all the comics I read are Manga it's not really surprising. 12. Why did you start making the pages larger? Because before, I felt like I was squishing the dialogue and that the dialogue was to "small". Small dialogue discourages brave readers. So I just scanned the pages at a bigger size and thus can use a larger font. 13. Why do you call yourself "Clemon"? Because "Clemon" is my internet name. One day, I had to remember to bring Lemonade to school, so I wrote "Lemon" on my arm and them added a "C" because I thought it would look "cool". I don't really like Lemon, but I like Clemintines so...things just happen Clemon can also be "Clemonic Acid" and "Clemonacid" when the "Clemon" username is taken.
